What this website collects, why, and what happens to it.

Who this covers
This policy covers this website, fieracore.com, and nothing else. It is operated by Whammerstone Media LLC.
It does not cover the FieraCore association management system itself. An association running on that system holds its own members' data and decides its own policy for it. If you are a member of an association and have a question about your record, your association is the right place to ask.
What we collect
Two things, and nothing else.
- What you type into the contact form: your name, your association, your work email, the membership size band you pick, and your message.
- What a web server records to serve a page: your IP address, the time, the page requested, and the browser's own description of itself.
The contact form
When you send the form we store what you typed, the time you sent it, your IP address, and which page you sent it from. We store the page because a message sent from the pricing page is a different question from one sent anywhere else, and knowing which it is means we answer you better.
We store your IP address for one reason: to stop the same sender submitting the form repeatedly within a short window. It is not used to identify you, and it is not shared.
We also keep a note of whether we have replied. That is a working note for us, not a profile of you.
Why we are allowed to
You gave it to us because you wanted a reply. We use it to give you one, and for nothing else. If your enquiry does not turn into a conversation, the record sits unused until it is deleted.
We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone for their own purposes.
Third parties
This site loads nothing from anyone else. No content delivery network, no font service, no analytics, no advertising, no embedded video, no social buttons. Every file the page asks for comes from this server.
That is a deliberate choice and it is testable: open the network tab and every request will be to fieracore.com.
The site is hosted on a server we control, and the contact form's contents are not sent to any external service.
How long we keep it
Server logs are kept for as long as the hosting platform's normal rotation keeps them, which is a matter of weeks.
Contact form submissions are kept until you ask us to delete them, or until we have no reason to keep them. Backups of the database are kept for fourteen days and then removed, so a deletion becomes permanent within two weeks.
⚠️ We have not yet set a fixed retention period for enquiries. When we do, this section will say what it is.
Asking us to change or delete it
Write to we@whammerstone.com and ask. You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will do it.
You do not need to give a reason and you do not need to quote a regulation.
Keeping it safe
The site is served over HTTPS. The page that reads contact submissions requires a login, is not linked from anywhere on the site, and is excluded from search engines.
No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
Children
This site is for people evaluating software for an organisation. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from one.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. We do not backdate.
